This book is written for the heterosexual woman who wishes she could heat things up by talking more openly, or more explicitly, about what she likes and wants to do with her male partner. The author is encouraging and enthusiastic, and she believes that anyone who wishes to do so can learn to be more explicit about what she loves about sex with her partner, and what she’d like a little (or a lot) more of in their sex life.
The author is a sex therapist, so she sets the stage carefully, coaching the reader in how she can get started, how to make sure her partner isn’t unpleasantly surprised by her new attitude, and then 51 exercises to unleash the sexy talker within. She ends with suggestions for some games in which to use the new skills, and an appendix for male partners, encouraging them to do the exercises in the book and develop their own erotic talk repertoire.
This is a very easy-to-use book and any woman (or man, with a bit of imagination) can use it without feeling overly embarrassed or uncomfortable. We share the author’s view that a bit of hot talk, or at least a little bit noisier and more enthusiastic lovemaking, is likely to increase the spice in your sex life. This book is a good choice for anyone looking for a good place to start.
