Quality DVDs on sexual positions can be hard to find, but we really like this one. Dr. Patti Britton invites viewers into one of her workshops about intercourse positions, with three real couples of many ethnicities at the workshop with her and another real couple following along at home (and you, of course). As Dr. Britton describes the benefits and drawbacks of a wide variety of positions, the couples demonstrate them in helpful (and explicit) detail. For each position, viewers get to see it in action, and learn the degree of difficulty, which partner has more control over depth and angle of penetration, and ways to modify the position if it isn’t comfortable for you. With all the positions, there’s an emphasis on buildling more connection and trust between partners. Although all the couples are heterosexual, all of the positions could be easily adapted for strap-on play.
With the wide range of positions demonstrated (in a variety of places — bedrooms, benches, showers, outdoors …) our only regret is that this DVD is focused only on intercourse positions, rather than on positions for a number of erotic activities. Nonetheless, this is a great resource, and we recommend it for anyone who wants to expand their erotic repertoire. Includes a music CD that you can use for your next erotic encounter.
