Our staff reviewer writes:
Sex therapists Diana Wiley, Marty Klein, PHD bring you this instructional movie on oral pleasure. This film features "real" heterosexual couples of a variety of ages, though no marked ethnic or cultural diversity.
The film includes a brief review of male and female anatomy, and then delves into common fears and beliefs about oral sex, such as hygiene, warm-up and progression, performing fellatio prior to or apart from an erection, and what to do with ejaculate. There is a lot of emphasis on communication for both fellatio and cunnilingus, especially discouraging feeling pressure to have (or fake) an orgasm for women.
Overall this is a very good instructional film with a nice step-by-step progression. It is suitable for complete beginners, and folks who want some fairly thorough instruction. It's also a nice resource if you're looking for ways to be intimate outside of penetration with a penis, or looking to develop new skills and technique. It's also a great resource for couples to watch together to facilitate conversation.
The film alternates between cunnilingus and fellatio throughout, so it is less suitable for someone who only wants instruction on only one or the other. If you're looking for a resource on cunnilingus or fellatio exclusively, and are comfortable with mainstream erotica with adult film stars, you may be interested in Tristan Taormino's Expert GT Fellatio or her Expert Guide to Cunnlingus.
The film includes two bonus features:
No Greater Love #3: A short black and white artsy silent film set to opera music showing couples of various genders and ethnicities kissing, touching and holding each other.
A Sexual Health Featurette: This short film mostly promotes other Sinclair products, discussing how sexually explicit videos can be useful communication tools for couples.
