When you need to be more precise about the timing of your shipment, these shipping deadlines and guidelines may help.
USPS Shipping Guidelines
Reliability of the USPS services delivery timeline has slipped. If you want something within a week, we strongly recommend choosing USPS Priority Mail, both for the timeliness as well as the free insurance up to $50. USPS Express Mail is more expensive and usually guarantees delivery in 1-2 days depending on the location. It also guarantees insurance of $100. If your package is expensive and you live in an apartment, we strongly recommend that you insure your package.
If you wish your package to arrive by December 24 and wish to use the US postal service for delivery orders must be received by noon on:
- First-Class Mail – Dec. 17
- Priority Mail – Dec. 19
- Express Mail – Dec. 20
FedEx Shipping Guidelines
FedEx is both a more expensive and far more reliable service for us to use to ship your package.
For holiday orders, expedited shipping via FedEx is available with the following guidelines:
Orders received by December 19 at noon can be shipped via FedEx 2 day service to arrive on 12/24.
Orders received by December 20 at noon can be shipped by FedEx Standard Overnight service to arrive on 12/24.
Orders received by December 23 at noon can be shipped by FedEx Expedited Overnight service to arrive on 12/24.
